Privacy Policy

Welsoma ("Welsoma", "we", "us") provides guided meditation and self-hypnosis audio through this website and, in future, our mobile apps. We are based in Australia. You can reach us any time at hello@welsoma.com.

We only collect what we need to run the service and improve it:

• Account details — your name (if given) and email address when you create an account or join a waitlist.
• Billing details — subscription plan and payment status. Card numbers are handled directly by our payment provider (Stripe); we never see or store your full card number.
• Usage information — which sessions you play and basic app/site activity, so we can keep improving the library and fix problems.
• Technical information — device type, browser and approximate location from your IP address, collected automatically for security and performance.

We do not ask for sensitive health information, and you should not send it to us. Meditation and hypnosis content on Welsoma is for general wellbeing and is not medical advice.

• To create and manage your account and subscription.
• To deliver the sessions and features you've signed up for.
• To process payments and send receipts and essential service messages.
• To respond to your questions and provide support.
• To understand how the service is used so we can make it better.
• To keep Welsoma secure and to meet our legal obligations.

We will only send you marketing emails if you opt in, and every marketing email has an easy unsubscribe link.

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run Welsoma, under agreements that require them to protect it — for example:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Hosting & email providers — to run the site and send service emails.
• Analytics providers — to understand aggregate usage.

Some of these providers may store data overseas. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs. We may also disclose information where required by law.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls and gated delivery of paid audio. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to act quickly if something goes wrong.

We keep your information for as long as you have an account, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it.

You can, at any time:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that's wrong.
• Ask us to delete your account and data (subject to our legal obligations).
• Opt out of marketing emails.

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; turning some off may affect how the site works.

Welsoma is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date above, and for significant changes we'll let you know by email or in the app.
